The Mill Farm Horses and Other Animals

Based on the Northamptonshire/Buckinghamshire/Oxfordshire border in 16 acres of beautiful countryside, Mill Farm offers sanctuary to our herd of ten naturally kept horses and ponies, dogs, cats, free roaming ex-battery chickens, fish, our resident swans and geese and a bearded dragon. The newest member is a mini Mule called Basil.

The horses have been together as a core herd for over 20 years and as such provide a unique opportunity to observe the behaviour of a herd that has been allowed to form long-lasting relationships as they would in a natural state. The Mill Farm Herd and other animals are at the heart of what we do; their presence facilitates therapy and enhances wellbeing.
